Hi, I’m the person behind Toward Analytics.

I’ve been working in data analytics for over seven years, both academically and professionally. Along the way, I’ve learned that good analysis isn’t about using the trendiest tools. It’s about using the right ones. Sometimes that’s SQL. Sometimes it’s a spreadsheet. And sometimes it’s just a whiteboard and a clear question.

I started this site as a place to share what I’ve learned and to build a growing collection of tips, tools, and workflows that help analysts do better work. That might mean creating simple dashboards in Google Drive, setting up an open-source tool like Metabase, or just getting better at asking the right questions.
